I am currently the Director of Guitar Studies at California State University Northridge (CSUN) in Los Angeles, California. The school offers Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Guitar performance. In addition to a complete guitar curriculum, the school is also the home of the International Guitar Research Archives (IGRA), one of the world’s largest collections of printed classical guitar music, offering excellent resources to performers and scholars of the instrument.
Los Angeles is the center of the music industry, and there are dozens of major guitar related events every month in the city. CSUN presents its own series of guitar concerts and masterclasses by the world’s greatest performers and teachers, and is also host to the American Guitar Society concert series.
